Winterhaus Lodge, "Thredbo's Haus For All Seasons" is located on the Alpine Way Thredbo overlooking the Thredbo Village and Mountain. The lodge offers spacious rooms, open fire place, limited parking and a friendly warm environment. Enjoy a glass of wine and a cheeseboard and overlook the mountain from our guest, lounge and balcony. The Winterhaus Lodge has some of the best views of Thredbo and sure not to disappoint. We are only a short stroll to the village centre and chair lifts. This property may not be suitable for elderly or disabled people as there are stairs needed to access our property.

  1. DRIVING: THREDBO is around 5 hours drive from Sydney or Melbourne, however during Winter it is necessary to check road conditions prior to travelling and also chains may be required. All cars entering the Kosciousko National Park are required to pay park entry fees of $28.00 per day or an annual pass of $195
     
     COACH: There are a number of coach companies that connect to Thredbo including Summit Coachlines, Transboarder Express. We recommend Elite Supershuttle in Canberra.
     
     FLYING: Qantas through its network of Airlines fly into Cooma Airport which is located 1 to 1 1/2 hours drive from Thredbo. Contact Qantas on 13 13 13 to make a reservation. REX Airlines, Virgin Blue and Qantas also service Canberra Airport from major Australian cities. Canberra Airport is 2 1/2 hours from Thredbo. Shuttle transfers to and from both airports can be arranged and major car hire companies also operate from Canberra

  Car Parking Facilities

  1. From the 04th June to 01st October we have limited reserved guaranteed parking available for $12 per day. Should you wish to book one of these please contact the hotel directly after making your reservation. All other guests will be required to park in the Thredbo Overnight Carpark a short driver away. All other dates outside the above parking is complimentary on a first come basis.

  Cancellation Policy

  1. In the case of No Show and if you cancel or admend your booking, 100% cancellation and admendment fee of the total booking amount applies.
